A few other notes:
  • Scratches: Please email me directly if you have any scratches.
  • Coaches and Coxswain Meeting will be at 8PM on Thursday evening over zoom, a link will be sent out and the meeting will be recorded and posted on our website.
  • We will have live stream drone coverage of the regatta this year, both for viewing at the regatta and online. Links for this will be sent out via email, and available on the SRA social media sites and website.
  • There will be no practice on Friday. We are hosting another regatta Friday afternoon so practice is impossible.
  • Athlete drop off and pick up loop: There will be a drop off loop at the state boat launch for parents to drop off athletes.
  • Bus/ car parking: Please fill out this form to sign up your team buses and on site car parking. Bus parking is $60 for the weekend. On site car parking is limited to two cars per team per day, this is $20 per car per day. This does not include tow vehicles.
  • All other car parking is off site at the Saratoga Casino, parking is free but there is a $5 fee to ride the shuttle to the race site. The shuttle will run from 6AM to 7PM, or until everyone has arrived back at their car.
  • Team tent info: (please share with team parents if applicable)
  • Teams will have space near their trailers for 10x10 tents.
  • Carry in food is allowed, this can be brought by coaches/ athletes and/or supplied by outside sources (catering or parents.) Infront of the SRA training center will be a food drop off loop, please have team members ready to pick up food being dropped off. This is shown on the map below. For teams at 550 you can drop off food at the 550 drop off spot.
  • No chuck wagons, no grilling please.
  • We will also have a large tent with many tables and chairs for athletes to recover under.
  • Lee's Park is a privately owned property, so please do not go on the property. If you do, volunteers or SRA staff will ask to you please leave (and if you get caught by the owners of Lee's Park they definitely will not ask nicely.)

Update 4/14/22

As a reminder general registration is open until April 18th, and then late registration will run from April 18-25th.
  • Entries/ Scratches: Please get any last entries in even if they are on a waitlist, I am going to add flights to events with more than five boats on the waitlist. Below are events with at least 3 crews currently on waitlist:
  • Boys U17/Jr 4+ on Saturday
  • Girls U17/Jr 4+ on Saturday
  • Girls V4x on Saturday
  • Girls V2x on Sunday
  • Girls U17/ Jr 2x on Sunday
  • IF you are going to scratch crews also please do that ASAP so that others can be admitted off the waitlist. Any crews not scratched by April 25th will have to pay for their entry.
  • A few events currently have 11 crews entered, if you are entered in one of these and would be willing to move a crew up or down a category please reach out to me directly. These events are:
  • Boys 3V8+ on Saturday
  • Boys U16/Freshman 4x on Saturday
  • Boys V8+ on Sunday
  • Boys 2V8+ on Sunday (potentially we could move someone up or down in that 1v/2v category to combine a second heat for both)
  • Boys 2V4x on Sunday
  • Ideally I can get everyone off the waitlist so I might reach out to you if you have crews on a waitlist if you would be interested in shifting into a different event.
  • To clarify because I have gotten a few questions, as is traditionally the case. Saturday racing will be flight style with mixed speed crews in flights. Sunday is our "Championship" day with "stacked" flights, the fastest crews from Saturday will be seeded into faster flights on Sunday. Of course, different teams will prioritize racing on different days and so this is a best guess situation. On both Saturday and Sunday all flights will be awarded medals.
  • As a reminder there will also be no food tent spaces available in Lee's Park. We apologize for the inconvenience and will have large trailer spots to allow space for recovery tents. Parents/ support staff can bring pre-packaged food and there are local restaurants available for catering. Note, there will be a LARGE tent by the vendor area that will have enough tables and chairs for teams and spectators to hang out and watch the drone video.
  • Please register your trailer on streamline. The trailer spot will be for the entire weekend.
  • Bus/ on-site car parking will be available in a limited capacity per team (tow vehicle plus two vehicles per team, a later email will go out to purchase these passes.) Bus parking and the on site car parking will be in Lee's Park.
  • All other car parking will be off-site with a shuttle (5 minute ride.) Off site parking will be at the Saratoga Casino. There will be no fee to park off site, but there will be a $5 fee to ride the shuttle.
  • We will have live stream drone coverage of the regatta this year, both for viewing at the regatta and online.
  • There will be no practice on Friday. We are hosting another regatta Friday afternoon so practice is impossible. You will be able to drop your trailer on Friday.
